CAMHS survey for service evaluation

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust are in the early stages of carrying out a service evaluation of the Neurodevelopmental (ND) referral pathways, sometimes referred to as the BEN Pathways

In plain English this means they are reviewing how CAMHS services to children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, most commonly needs associated with Autism and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

There is a recognition in the trust that the way services are delivered in this area needs to be addressed. The trust are considering how the services could be done differently in the future and so are sending out surveys to parents/carers who have had children at any point on the pathway, from having been initially referred but not taken forward for assessment, to those that have been assessed and given a formal diagnosis.

There has also been a survey sent out to schools in Surrey, as schools are considered as potentially seem as important to any future service transformation.

We really would appreciate the voices of parents and carers for this service evaluation.
