Project officers needed for school SEND packs project
Family Voice Surrey is looking for two schools outreach project workers for projects in Elmbridge and east Surrey.
The Schools Projects are funded by Elmbridge Borough Council, and Raven Housing Trust's Brighter Community Fund. The project workers will work with families, children’s centres and schools in the Elmbridge and east Surrey areas to develop information packs for SEND families whose children are either starting school or transitioning from one educational setting to another.
The idea for this project has come from the number of families who tell us how difficult it can be to get the information they need at key points such as after their child gets a diagnosis or on starting school.
The Elmbridge role is funded for 1-2 days/week for up to 3 months. Hours can be worked to suit. Click here for the Elmbridge project worker role description.
The East Surrey role (which covers Tandridge, Reigate & Banstead, Mole Valley and Epsom & Ewell) is for 26 days, to be worked over 3-6 months. Again, hours can be worked to suit. Click here for the East Surrey project worker role description.
To apply, please send a CV and covering letter outlining how you are suited to the role to Sue Lea, operations manager. Closing date is Thursday 7 September.
