Free event for parent carers in Guildford
Understanding a child with additional needs' behaviours and obsessions is central to helping them develop and deal with the world around them. But how do we do this? If you feel you'd like some expert help, and would like to meet other parents in similar situations, then come along to a free event at the Guildford Institute on 12th September 2017.
In this talk, Mark Brown, founder of Special Help for Special Needs, will explore some top tips which can be used by parents and carers in developing this understanding and will suggest some relevant interventions that will help towards effectively supporting the child or young person with additional needs.
The sesion, organised by Family Voice Surrey, is funded by the Community Foundation for Surrey, an independent charitable trust established to insprie local giving for local need. The Community Foundation works both with donors who want to give something back to their local communities and the voluntary group providing vital services for local people.
The session will run from 10.30am - 12.30pm. To book your place, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01372 705708.
