Last year, our annual satisfaction survey received over 275 responses, providing valuable evidence for us to use in support of the need for change. Members told us how they felt the local authority measured up to its service values, and how easy or difficult it had been to get the support they needed for their child or young person with disabilities or additional needs. The evidence we gathered was instrumental in initiating a review across the whole of SEND.
Recognising change is needed is a huge and important step – bringing about that change will be an even greater one. To help us with the next stage, we are running our satisfaction survey again. The questions are the same as last year, to help us track changes. However, we have also introduced a question about your experience of Family Voice this year to help us with our own improvement.
