Free event for parent carers in Caterham
Understanding a child with additional needs’ behaviours and obsessions is central to helping them develop and deal with the world around them. But how do we do this? If you feel you’d like some expert help, and would like to meet other parent carers in similar situations, then come along to a free event at Caterham United Reformed Church on 25 January 2017
In this talk, Mark Brown, founder of Special Help 4 Special Needs, will explore some top tips which can be used by parents and carers in developing this understanding and will suggest some relevant interventions that will help towards effectively supporting the child or young person with additional needs.
The session, organised by Family Voice Surrey, is funded by the Community Foundation for Surrey, an independent charitable trust established to inspire local giving for local need. The Community Foundation works both with donors who want to give something back to their local communities and the voluntary groups providing vital services for local people.
You can book a place on either a daytime (11am-1pm) or evening (7pm-9pm) session. For more details and to book, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01372 705708.
