We asked: How will the government support families with disabled children who want to visit the EU for holidays, family visits now that the EHIC card scheme is no longer available? He answered: If you have a current EHIC card it will continue to be usable and recognised. There are talks to look at compatible schemes in EU countries to replicate this.
