Once again, our annual event has something to offer everyone - whether you're a parent or carer of a child with special educational needs, or a professional working with SEND families. This year, we are delighted to welcome Councillor Clare Curran, cabinet member for children, to open our event. Family Voice Surrey is looking for trustees with strategic vision and a passion for children and young people to form our first board as we move to becoming a Charitable Incorporated Organisation. As a trustee joining FVS at this exciting time you will help lead our development and make a difference to families across Surrey by: actively contributing to the Board, giving firm strategic direction to the organisation, acting as an ambassador for the organisation ensuring FVS complies with its governing documents and other legislation ensuring the financial stability of the organisation attending board meetings (six a year including the AGM), away days and planning days taking an active part of
