Funding win for 2017 Schools Project

We’re delighted to have received funding from Raven Housing Trust’s Brighter Community Fund to work with families, Children’s Centres and schools in the east Surrey area to develop information packs for SEND families whose children are either starting school or transitioning from one educational setting to another. The idea for this project has come from the number of families who tell us how difficult it can be to get the information they need at key points such as after their child gets a diagnosis or on starting school. Ofsted/CQC report published

Between 17 and 21 October 2016 Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) jointly inspected the effectiveness of the Surrey local area in implementing the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) reforms of the Children and Families Act 2014.
