Preparing for Adulthood and Accessing Adult Social Care
For parents and carers of children and young people with SEND in Surrey
Based on feedback from parent carers, Family Voice Surrey and Halow are hosting an information and Q&A session focused on preparation for adulthood and accessing adult social care support for young people with SEND.
This session will:

Explain what adult social care support may be available from age 18

Outline the types of services that can support young people as they move into adulthood

Use real-life case examples to help make the process clearer

Give parents and carers the opportunity to ask questions directly to professionals
